Vieira de Almeida & Associados (VdA), in the context of its activities in the Centre for Responsible AI, is seeking a talented and driven AI Legal Intern to join our Digital Frontiers | Information Communication and Technology practice area. This is a unique opportunity to actively contribute to the groundbreaking work of the Center for Responsible AI, collaborate closely with legal practitioners and researchers with expertise on matters related to law and technology and participate in the development of research on AI and law, including on the development of legal tools and solutions.

Requirements:

Mandatory:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law from a reputable Portuguese or international university
  • Fluent in English (Level B2 and above)
  • Portuguese proficiency is a plus

Preferred:

  • Concluded Master’s or currently pursuing a Master’s or PhD in Law and Technology or related fields
  • Demonstrated research and publications on law and AI or related topics
  • 1 year work experience in legal, compliance, or related areas within the data or technology areas

  • Engage in cutting-edge research on AI and law
  • Collaborate with a dynamic team of legal and technology professionals
  • Contribute to projects aimed at fostering responsible AI practices
